Dr Eshini Perera is a Specialist Dermatologist and a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists.

 

Dr Perera  holds multiple tertiary qualifications, having graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2009 with a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery and a Bachelor of Advanced Medical Science. She also holds a Master of Medicine with First Class Honours from The University of Melbourne, a Master of Public Health and Epidemiology from the University of Sydney and obtained a Fellowship at the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Dr Perera has developed a broad range of experience, working extensively in clinical research in Dermatology before completing her clinical training at the Queensland Institute of Dermatology, The Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Mater Miscordae Hospital, Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital and the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

She has been published widely in both Australian and International medical journals and is first author multiple textbook chapters. 

​

In addition to being trained in general dermatologic conditions, she has had training in laser rejuvenation, laser treatment for medical conditions (including rosacea, telangiectasia and actinic cheilitis), acne scarring, platelet rich plasma, injectable fillers (including profhilo, acne scarring), neurotoxins and hidradenitis supprutiva deroofing.

Dr Perera has a special interest in medical, paediatric and cosmetic dermatology.
